This is a fundraiser for St. Paul's Methodist Church at 910 NW 38th Avenue in Lawton, Oklahoma. Lawton Fort Sill Art Council will have a 10 x 10 booth in the sale and I will have 4 or 5 miniature oil paintings for sale in their booth. The show runs for 3 days only, from 10am til 5pm on Friday and Saturday and 12pm til 5 pm on Sunday, with no opening reception.

Winery of the Wichitas is hosting an art show in their winery gallery for Mollie Erkenbrack and daughter, Kim Schwichtenberg, for the month of September. Winery of the Wichitas is a wonderful little winery and restaurant, Buffalo Bistro, and overlooks the town of Medicine Park, Oklahoma. The food there is delicious and on some nights one can sit outside and listen to great music from local bands. They host a different artist each month during the months of spring, summer and fall.

This is a popular fundraiser for the museum. Every year they have a different country for the dinner's theme, which makes it a fun event. Exhibition will hang at the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art from January 12 - February 3, 2009 in three of the Square's main floor exhibition galleries. An auction preview reception will be held 5:30-7:30 Friday, January 16, 2009 and the silent and live auctions and benefit dinner will be held at the Meadow Lark Country Club on February 7, 2009.

The museum's goal is to provide a high-quality event for the community and participating artists. At the same time, it helps to provide funds to support The Square's art exhibits and educational programs. This is a very popular event every year.

I am honored to be in the C.M. Russell Masters in Miniature Show and Wall Sale again this year. I will have two pieces in the show. On June 21, 2008 the museum will have the Members and Artists Preview Reception. Masters in Miniature opens to the public on June 22, 2008. The Cocktail/Buffet Reception and Wall Sale will be on September 6, 2008 and the unsold works will remain on exhibit and available for purchase from September 7-14, 2008. Sales will be via box draw.
New this year will be a "buy-it-now" price for anyone not wanting to wait for the sale event to buy. The buy-it-now price will be double the wall sale price.
